Summer Supper – Mother Supper

The sun is high.
Light dances across the field.
We gather for a communal feast.
We bask the evening sun glow.
Friends old and new generate warmth you can feel in your bones.
We share in the bounty of the earth.

A posy of flowers.
A meal.
A cup of wine.
Our friendship.

Summer Supper, hosted by Island Farm Studio on Sauvie Island was a very special supper. The evening began with a cocktail hour hosted by Freeland Spirits and Sauvie Shrubs—our guest gathered flowers from the fields to make take home bouquets. We then gathered, on a table artfully appointed by our team and Madre Linens, to share a feast created by Angie Barrios of Comparta.
